I recently stayed at Chateau De Saint-Genix for a few nights and it was a delightful experience. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The top floor bedrooms were spacious and beautifully clean, with incredibly comfortable beds. I loved the charming old chateau, especially the stunning views we had during breakfast and dinner. Speaking of which, the food at the hotel was absolutely fantastic, with the chef impressing us every night. it was a unique and enjoyable stay.

A charming, cozy and friendly stay away from big hotels. Terrific breakfast inspired by local products. Lovely lounge and dining area with a mini kitchen. Impressive smaller chateau with comfortable beds.

The hotel is located in a quiet area but close enough to a small town. the breakfast had a nice variety of fresh food and the rooms were nicely done.
The hotel lacked staff presence and we had trouble with basic amenities like a plug for the basin and the shower was a bit weak. the dining room was lacking in ambiance and the dinner was simple.

The property is being beautifully restored and has huge potential. The owners are clearly putting their heart into renovating this old gem. The room was spacious with a lovely bathroom/wet room in one of the turrets. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. The dinner served outside had breathtaking views of the sunset. The friendly host made our stay perfect.
There was limited food options in the nearby village, so it's good to inform them of any dietary requirements. The attic bathrooms may not be suitable for taller people.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful. the attention to detail in the rooms was impressive. The decor was charming and the rooms were well-appointed, with a big table perfect for dining or working. Secondly, the friendly and attentive staff made us feel truly welcomed and taken care of. And lastly, the breakfast spread was delicious, with a variety of options including fresh croissants and yogurt. It's rare to find such value for money in a hotel, but this place was a hidden gem.
Nothing fell short during our stay.

the hilltop location offered stunning views of the surrounding area, and the delicious, locally-inspired breakfast left us feeling ready to explore. the friendly hosts made us feel right at home, and the lounge and dining room were perfect for relaxing and enjoying quiet evenings in. the secure bicycle storage was an added bonus, and the renovated bathroom provided a comfortable and stylish stay.
While the lack of a manned reception desk was not a problem for us, it may be a consideration for more traditional hotel amenities.

We spent New Year's Eve at a charming and cozy B&B that offered us a warm welcome. The breakfast options included delicious freshly baked bread and warm beverages. the location provided us with breathtaking views and easy access to nearby attractions.
While the B&B had a pleasant ambiance, it lacked privacy and security as it had no manned reception. , the bathroom facilities were not practical for tall individuals, and the presence of steep stairs made it challenging to move around.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in so many ways. the attention to detail was impeccable. The owners have lovingly restored this old country house with contemporary twists, making it a true gem. Secondly, the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Lastly, the location was perfect. Situated at the top of a hill, the views overlooking the town were breathtaking. I especially loved having breakfast on the terrace while taking in the stunning surroundings.
All in all, our stay at this hotel was fantastic and I couldn't fault a thing.
